It seemed that even the animals with their honed senses of nature did not predict the events that were beginning to transpire. They had gone mad, frantic. The forests and valleys filled with wails and screeches, and birds fled from their homes startled. As of three days ago, a large quake consumed the deeper regions of Iravia sending most of the wildlife into hysteria and startling the close-by population.
At first, it was thought to have been one of those rare events that occurred in nature. However, those that were truly skilled in the lands and its fauna could easily say otherwise: the event was unprecedented by even the dogs themselves which did not give any hint as to what was happening until after it happened, striking a strange behavior between fauna and flora.
After hours of the large quake, many had calmed down and those that were faithful to one god or another believed it was a sign. Still, the notions were left abandoned after sunset, but returned once night fell upon their souls. Again, the animals reacted as another quake hit. This time the movement in the earth was softer and was mimicked by a weaker encore. These become a pattern throughout the last three days.
Worried, brave adventurers set out to scour what was causing such strange behavior. Much to their disappointment and confusion, they would only find a clearing and three strangely-shaped rocks that spiked upward from the ground. There was nothing, not a single animal or beast in sight.
And so they would leave, map in hand and no tale to tell except for the three strange rocks in that clearing.
