Occupation: She helps protect the forests in her land and was passed on the job when her mother's tree was cut down. She also sends help to other wood nymphs having trouble in other areas. Her job is to make sure that her, and her people are safe, though that has become more of a challenge

Description: What does your character look like?


She is tall for a wood nymph, though on average still pretty short only reaching about 5'2". The leafs and vines in her hair reflect her emotions. When angered, they be come thorny and unyielding. When feeling calm the leaves are a bright green.And so on.

Her Spotted Owl named Pidjet. He is her eye in the sky and messenger for when she needs to travel.

Family History: Before anything here is the Wood Nymph history. Wood nymphs for the most part are a peaceful race. For eons, they had watched the earth change and grow, but one the race of man was introduced, they had a new job, to protect their race and home from this new danger. Though they did their best to first take the peaceful path, many of their forests were lost, along with many of their kin. A wood nymph, can live for along time, and though they can die if their bodies are attacked, their soul is connected to the tree they were born with. If their tree is cut down their soul disappears, as if they were never there. Where as they would have been reincarnated if either their bodies die or just through the decay of time. They can mate with humans though it is unheard of, they like to stick to their own kind but due to dwindling numbers they have been known to mate with some elves. 
With a vast number of the nymphs gone, who maintained the balance of the forests, now more savage creatures came who do not abide to the Wood Nymph rules. Many were eaten and many more trees were badly damaged. Willow's mother, Ashlind, was one of the trees who was cut down. Without her mother, who was the head of a council of some remaining Nymphs, the remainder of her people would perish. So the job was passed on to Willow, and has been doing her best to protect what was left of their home with her small Spotted owl, Pidjet, that she had found with a twisted wing and healed.
